Thanks Stephanie...you're still an angel!! This song is a real miracle story. It's being performed by Bucky Pizzarelli - a real jazz legend with many credits to his name...too many to count in fact, including having played with Benny Goodman and having a long standing stint on The Johnny Carson Show. My mom went to school with Mrs. Pizzarelli and when I was a little girl, Mom often talked about them...40 years later, my friend mentions to Mrs. Pizzarelli that I'm recording an album for charity and before I know it, Bucky is in the studio recording this track. God is so good.

Hey All,

My name is Angelica Rose Ferraro and I'm the artist who created the cover design for Vocare's album, "Long Have I Waited". Originally, I began the project as a mission to assist one of the most influential women in my life: my Aunt Pat. The design process itself was instant, the image came to mind when I thought of my father's contribution to the album ("What Child Is This"). I'm so glad that everyone seems to be enjoying it, and it's my sincerest hope to see this CD succeed after witnessing everyones' hard work and dedication!

OH, Bob forgot to mention the privilege of recording with the University English Department Head in possession of amazing song writing, guitar playing, and vocal ability who happens to have a string of literary and musical credits to his name including a masterful original piece on "Long Have I Waited"......his name is Bob.....Bob McParland, in fact...wonder how he could forget that?

How often am I going to record with three jazz wizards (Rave Tesar, Dave Corsello, Bucky Pizzareli), a Franciscan priest who can really sing and play guitar like he dropped out of heaven one day (Rev. Francis Gunn), a magnificent hairstylist with a fine singing voice and a soul-filled and radiant personality (Paul Ferraro), an accomplished violinist who has worked with people I've known on the folk music circuit (Carol Sharar), a brillant composer (Michael Ward), an incredible madrigal choir arranger (Craig Lymie), the soul of St. Anne's church music for the past few decades (Nancy Quinn), a dedicated and innovative percussionist(Jackie), and a singing Benedictine nun?
Collaboration is a wonderful thing -
and those who take on the commitment of vocations are the great collaborators: with God and with humanity.
